About Mobile Rate
Last updated 25 Oct 2026
Mobile Rate answers one question: what will this phone really cost in Pakistan? We work out the PTA tax, show every step, and cite the SRO or Act behind each figure.
What we are not
We are not affiliated with PTA, FBR or any phone brand. Every answer is an estimate; the amount on your DIRBS payment slip (PSID) is final.
What is not verified yet
The FY2026-27 tax rules have not yet been read against the SRO text and are labelled that way everywhere. Phone prices and assessed values are sample placeholders for now and are labelled “Sample”.
How we verify
- Every tax figure is stored with its legal reference (the SRO or Act) and the date it took effect. A figure is marked verified only after the primary document has been read and checked against real payment slips; until then the secondary source is named and the figure is labelled unverified.
- The rules are reviewed whenever a new Finance Act or SRO is published (Pakistan’s fiscal year starts on 1 July). Every page shows the day it was last reviewed or checked.
- PTA’s own procedures (checking an IMEI, registering a phone) are taken from PTA’s DIRBS site and linked from each answer.
- Prices only from brands’ own Pakistan announcements; we never scrape shops or other price sites. Full list: sources and methods.
Corrections
Spotted a wrong figure? Send the page link to legal@danixsoft.com. We fix it and update the page’s date; older rule sets stay on file with their dates so past answers can still be checked.
